Kai Kraus has been with CIFE since 2018 as an academic assistant in EU Law. In the first year courses, he supports Edgar Lenski in European Law I - Basics of European (constitutional) Law and European Law II - Internal Market. In the second year, he supports Ralf Kanitz in Constitutional Framework of the EU, European Citizenship and the course of the professional track on the internal market, trade and sustainability.
Kai Kraus studied Law at the Free University of Berlin, where he specialised in EU Law and European Comparative Law. In 2016, he worked as student assistant to Prof. Dr. Steffen Hindelang at the Free University. His main fields of interest are constitutional law and the relationship between EU Member States and the EU.
Kai Kraus works as a Legal Engineer, combining areas law and technology at a law firm. Here, he mainly focuses on contract and document automation, but also looks to make legal work more efficient through process optimization and technical solutions.
