Doris Dialer teaches the course Lobbying and Advocacy in the EU in the first study year of the Executive Master in EU Studies.
Dr Doris Dialer is Attachée for Health and Consumer Protection at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU in Brussels. From February 2020 to March 2021 she has been responsible for EU, WHO, International and Socio-Political Affairs in the Cabinet of the Austrian Minister for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection in Vienna.
A political scientist by training, Doris holds a MA and PhD in European Studies. She is Adjunct Professor at the University of Innsbruck’s School of Political Sciences, and Associate Lecturer at the University for Applied Sciences Kehl, the University of Continuing Education Krems and at the MCI - The Entrepreneurial School Innsbruck. She is founding member of the "Innsbruck Center for European Research" (ICER) and co-editor of the “Europawissenschaftliche Reihe” (Nomos/iup). Her resent research focuses on EU Lobbing & Advocacy, EU Health & Consumer Policy, EU Consultative Bodies (EESC and CoR) and especially EU Parliamentarism due to almost fourteen years of professional experience as a MEP’s Head of Office.
