Tamás Szigetvári teaches the course The Enlargement of the EU - Experiences, Processes and Impact in the first year of the Executive Master in EU Studies and the course The European Union Facing Global Economic Challenges in the second year of the Executive Master in EU Studies. He is responsible for the professional track Economics with the course Cohesion and Differentiation - Internal Cohesion of the EU and supervises the research track in Economics too.
Tamás Szigetvári is a professor at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Hungary. He is the Head of the International Studies Department and teaches courses in International economics and its institutions, EU in the world economy, and EU's economic policy. Since 1996, he has been a research fellow (since 2003 senior research fellow) at the Institute of World Economics (part of HUN-REN Research Center of Economic and Regional Studies).
His major research interest focuses on EU enlargement and neighbourhood policy, and the EU neighbourhood in the world economy.
