The study programme of the Executive Master in EU Studies has started last Friday with a kick-off workshop in Berlin. After an interesting visit to the German Federal Chancellery and a short walk through the centre of Berlin, the academic programme started on Friday afternoon and continued until Sunday morning. We are glad to welcome this international, highly motivated and aspiring group of professionals looking for insights in EU affairs, skills and competences training, and expertise from national and European experts and decision-makers.
Participants from 12 different nationalities have started the first term of the 26 month curriculum with the courses 'Institutional architecture of the EU' introduced by Prof. Wolfgang Wessels and Carsten Gerards, 'Introduction to EU law' by Prof. Ingolf Pernice and Edgar Lenski and 'History of European Integration' by Prof. Hartmut Marhold.
After an online phase of about 3 months, we will meet again in Rome in January 2018.
