Start of the second term in Rome!
Era a Roma questo fine settimana! The students of the Executive Master in EU Studies met for the second time for the start of the second term.
On Friday morning, we met Member of Parliament Giula Pastorella and talked about the Italian political system. She gave us her insights about her role and particularly her action on the sensible topic of data centers in Italy. We also had the opportunity to listen to a hearing in the Italian Parliament. The afternoon was dedicated to the course Political Economy of Energy Transitions introduced by François Bafoil and concluded with a lecture and discussion on the challenges for the EU to communicate to its citizens with Gianluca Sgueo.
Saturday morning focused on the European Law and the Internal Market with Edgar Lenski before moving on the topic The EU in World Politics with Robert Kissack in the afternoon.
Food for thoughts but also delicious Roman food was part of the weekend!
The last course introduction was given by Jacques Le Cacheux on the Economic Dimension of EU integration. We thank our experts and speakers for their highly interesting presentations and expertise and our students for their commitment and active participation.
We wish them good luck and a lot of energy for their studies in the second term!
Looking forward to facilitating their study path and meeting them again in April in Budapest.
