We were very pleased to meet our students in Rome this weekend!
We started the workshop walking to Piazza del Parlamento to meet Italian MP Giulia Pastorella for a highly interesting presentation and discussion on the functioning of the Italian Parliament and Italy's European policy.
On Friday afternoon, François Bafoil introduced the students to his very topical course Political Economy of Energy Transitions and Robert Kissack started his course EU in World Politics.
On the second day, Edgar Lenski explained the main features of European law – internal market. Students then had a lecture and exercises with Gianluca Sgueo on the Communication in the EU and Developing of Communications Strategies as well as writing and analysing press releases.
Jacques Le Cacheux concluded the workshop on Sunday morning with his course on the Economic Dimension of the EU integration.
We thank our students and experts for their input during these three days and wish our students good luck for the coming term and look forward to meeting them again in Budapest in April!
Lectures and group work and a well deserved group dinner:
