Welcome to our new students!
First workshop in Berlin. 23 of our 31 new students met for the first time in Berlin for the opening workshop on 11 to 13 October 2024. 18 nationalities, diverse and interesting professional backgrounds, we are glad to welcome them and to support them on their two-year journey.
We discovered Berlin and its history with a guided tour of the government district and the Reichstag Dome on Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, the experts introduced the first term courses, which gave the students and experts the opportunity to meet in person before diving into the course presentations. Over the two days, Wolfgang Wessels and Birgit Bujard introduced 'Institutional Architecture of the EU', Anja Thomas 'Fundamentals of Scientific Work', Edgar Lenski 'Introduction to European Law' and CIFE Director General Matthias Waechter 'History of European Integration'.
